Call for Papers丨The 17th National Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing Conference, AI Open Joint Call for Papers

The 17th National Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing (CCKS 2023) is in the process of soliciting papers, and a joint call for papers is being launched with "AI Open". The deadline for soliciting papers is June 2, 2023.

The China Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing (CCKS) is sponsored by the Language and Knowledge Computing Professional Committee of the Chinese Information Society of China. The conference originated from the Chinese Knowledge Graph Symposium (CKGS) and China Chinese Semantic Web and Web Science Conference (CSWS), combined in 2016, CCKS 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 in Beijing, Chengdu, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Guangzhou (online) and Qinhuangdao. The National Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing Conference has become the core academic conference in the fields of knowledge graph and semantic technology in China . academics and researchers.

The 17th National Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing (CCKS 2023) will be held in Shenyang from August 24th to 27th, 2023. The theme of this conference is "Knowledge Graph Empowers General AI" , which aims to explore the support ability of knowledge graph to general AI technology, explore the role and application of knowledge graph in cross-platform, cross-field and other AI tasks, and study knowledge representation , knowledge storage, knowledge mining, knowledge fusion, knowledge reasoning and other key technologies of knowledge graph development in the context of general AI, guide the transformation of knowledge graph related technologies, and lay the foundation for the ultimate realization of general AI. The conference agenda will include workshops, conference invited reports, cutting-edge trend forums, industry forums, young scholars forums, evaluations and competitions, paper reports, posters and system demonstrations. Well-known scholars at home and abroad are invited to introduce the latest developments in related fields and Development trends, invite well-known R&D personnel in the industry to share practical experience, and promote industry-university-research cooperation.

In addition to research papers and application papers, this conference will continue to set the theme of knowledge graph open resources , aiming to support and promote the sharing of data resources in academia and industry. Resources include but are not limited to: knowledge graphs/ontologies, datasets/evaluation sets, software tools/services/APIs/frameworks, protocols/standard specifications, etc., and are encouraged to publish resources in the Open Knowledge Graph community (OpenKG). Reviewers will comprehensively evaluate the quality of resources and papers from the dimensions of resource quality and potential influence, reusability (such as documentation), availability (such as URLs and open source agreements), and OpenKG will review the selected open resources Carry out publicity and promotion.

The conference sincerely invites scholars and R&D personnel in related fields to submit English and Chinese papers with unpublished results. English submissions should not exceed a 12-page PDF, and Chinese submissions should not exceed an 8-page PDF . The above limit includes all content such as references and appendices. Research and application papers adopt a double-blind review mechanism . Submissions should not disclose author information anywhere in the author, text, footnotes, acknowledgments, citations, etc., otherwise the manuscript will be rejected; open-source papers on knowledge graphs adopt a single-blind review mechanism . Should include author information and resource URL. The manuscript template is as follows:

  • English submissions use the Springer LNCS template :
  • https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines
  • Chinese submissions adopt the template of "Journal of Chinese Information Science" :
  • http://jcip.cipsc.org.cn/

Accepted English papers will be included in the collection of papers published by Springer, and excellent English papers will be recommended to relevant journals such as "Journal of Computer Science and Technology" and "Data Intelligence" after expansion; accepted Chinese papers will be recommended to "Chinese Information Journal", "Small Microcomputer System", "Journal of Peking University", "Journal of Northeastern University", "Journal of Shanxi University", "Journal of Yanshan University" and other related journals. The journal will conduct a second review of the recommended papers and decide whether to publish them.

Dissertation topics include (but are not limited to)

  • Knowledge representation and knowledge graph reasoning , such as ontology modeling and evolution, knowledge representation learning, knowledge graph completion, etc.;
  • Knowledge acquisition and knowledge map construction , such as entity/event extraction, various complex and multimodal knowledge map construction, etc.;
  • Knowledge integration and knowledge map management , such as ontology/entity matching, knowledge quality assurance, graph database and query, etc.;
  • Natural language understanding and semantic computing , such as semantic similarity/relevance computing, knowledge-enhanced text understanding, etc.;
  • Knowledge map applications , such as semantic search, question answering and dialogue, recommendation and auxiliary decision-making, industrial/government applications, etc.;

About AI Open

AI Open is a freely accessible journal platform for sharing knowledge processing and forward-looking perspectives on artificial intelligence theory and its applications. The journal welcomes research articles, review articles, perspectives, short communications and technical notes on all aspects of artificial intelligence and its applications. AI Open was established in 2020. Up to now, it has been indexed by EI, and the journal downloads have reached 200,000 times. More than 2,000 citations, including 387 citations from Web of Science and 478 citations from Scopus. The average publication time of AI Open is 24 weeks, which means that articles submitted to AI Open can be published within 6 months, which is even faster than the conference. In order to make the journal develop better, we hope to collect more high-quality manuscripts by organizing special issues. Scholars are welcome to apply.
