As an old customer who has used Galaxy Kirin for more than a year, I have used Galaxy Kirin V10 SP1, Galaxy Kirin V10 SP2, and won the bid for Kirin 7.6. Of course, it is mainly used for localization projects.
Of course I have to try this time, so I went to the official website, applied for V10SP3, and downloaded the desktop version of Galaxy Kirin V10 SP1 (I used version 2107 before, and now version 2303 is available) to experience it with openkylin and NeoKylin.
Many people are confused, let’s briefly talk about the difference:
Galaxy Kirin V10SP3: server version, continuation of SP1 and SP2, like windows server, used as a commercial server, the kernel is based on openeuler.
Galaxy Kirin desktop version: office use, like windows 10, windows 11, see the description is based on debian
openkylin: Open Kylin, equivalent to the community version, free of charge. Similar to the desktop interface.
neokylin: I won the bid for Kylin. The previous version of Kylin will probably disappear in the future. The interface looks like CentOS, and it is based on fedora.
Personal summary:
Server version: It is still good as a server, and it has been used for more than a year without any problems. Pretty stable. Graphical interface is a bit naive. However, the server generally does not use a graphical interface.
The desktop version and so on are hard to say, anyway, I don't know how to use them. It is estimated that only the xx unit has no choice but to use it, so I will post a separate article to complain later.
