Event background
FFmpeg is the world's leading open source multimedia framework - its full name is Fast Forward MPEG ( Moving Picture Experts Group). It was created and open sourced by god-level developer Fabrice Bellard.
But for most developers, FFmpeg is best known for the "pillar of shame" it created. The program was taken offline in the first half of 2011, but its web page source code still retains these lists.

Because FFmpeg is free software, using LGPL and GPL licenses (depending on the selected components), anyone can use it freely under the terms of the agreement.
In the PC Internet era, many player software used FFmpeg code and did not comply with the open source agreement and disclose any source code. The FFmpeg community will post companies, organizations and personal websites that violate the open source agreement on the "Pillar of Shame". Korean playback software KMPlayer and domestic players Baofeng Video and QQ Video have all been on the list .
