Record Type

Host record:

Host record is the domain prefix, common usage are:

  • www: domain name after resolved to www.1756260160.com
  • @: Direct resolve the primary domain name 1756260160.com
  • : Pan-parsing, matching all other domain names * .1756260160.com

Record Type:

To point to the IP address space provided by, select the "Type A" to point a domain name, choose "Type CNAME"

  • A recording: the recording address, the domain name of the IPv4 address is used to specify (eg: 8.8.8.8), if desired domain names point to an IP address, it is necessary to add A record.

  • CNAME: If you need to point the domain name to another domain name, and then ip address provided by another domain name, you need to add a CNAME record.

  • NS: domain name server records, if you need the target domain name to other service providers DNS to resolve, you need to add NS records.

  • AAA: specifies the host name (or domain name) corresponding to the IPv6 address (eg: ff06: 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: c3) record.

  • MX: If you need to set up a mailbox, so the mailbox can receive mail, you need to add the MX records.

common usage are:

The value of each type of record is this general:
A record: Enter your server IP, if you do not know, ask your hosting provider
CNAME record: fill in the domain name space providers to offer you, for example: 2.com

AAAA: not commonly used. Resolves to IPv6 address.

TTL: our default 600 seconds is the most commonly used, without modification
that is Time To Live, cache life time. Refers to the local dns cache your domain name record time information, the cache invalidation will once again get to DNSPod record values.
600 (10 minutes): 600 normally recommended.
60 (1 minute): If you frequently modify IP, modify the record one minute to take effect. 60 long-term use, parsing speed will be slightly affected. 3600 (1 hour): If your IP rarely changes (several times a year), it is recommended to select 3600, fast parsing speed. If you want to modify IP, one day in advance to 60, it can quickly take effect.
