For start, let's just try to use our Windows Update Troubleshooter and see if this will make any changes on your Microsoft Edge.

By the way, in case the issue persists, I suggest that you reinstate Microsoft Edge by following the process below:

NOTE: This will reset Microsoft Edge and any saved favorites/pages will be cleared. Here's how you can do this:

  1. Press Windows key + R on your keyboard and then paste this address: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages

  2. Look for a folder named Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe and delete all of its contents. There would be windows that would appear confirming if you would want to delete certain files. Click Skip for all of the items.

  3. Press Windows key on your keyboard and then type PowerShell on the Cortana search box. Right-click on the result then click Run as Administrator.

  4.   On the PowerShell window, type this command: cd C:\users\%username%

  5. Paste this command: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
  6. Restart your device and see if the issue gets resolved.

Let us know the outcome of the workaround.
