First Contaction with Data Image Processing and Some Social Problems That This Technology Can Solve

In the class I had in last term, I first contacted the data image processing. Images in the computer can be roughly divided into binary images, gray images, index images and true color RGB images according to color and gray level. The components of the image are small pixels. In the grayscale image, the color of these small squares is gradually changed from pure black to pure white, and the process is divided into 0 to 255 color gradients, 256 color gradients in total. Therefore, their grayscale can be represented by Numbers from 0 to 255. Because of the neat arrangement of small and medium pixel blocks in the image, the matrix can be used to represent the position of pixel blocks.

In my hypothesis, maybe in my future study, I will apply grayscale image to the design and production of automatic car. In this process, image recognition will be an important part. The track of the car will automatically adjust its direction according to the analysis results of the captured picture. In my imagination, it is necessary to take the car to the real road environment for trial operation, take a large number of pictures of the road surface, and then mark the road surface with these pictures. Through machine learning, the car can judge the road condition by itself, so as to achieve the effect of automatically adjusting the direction when driving.

After that, I learned about the content of this aspect, and found that with the continuous emergence of new products, image processing has gradually penetrated into every corner of life and work. Now, data image processing has been applied in many fields, such as e-commerce, authentication, mapping, astronomical research, environmental protection and so on.

In the field of public security, data processing can be applied to face recognition. That is to say, if face recognition can be widely applied to entry and exit, then the scope of criminal arrest can be narrowed regionally, the escape routes of criminals can be cut off, and the difficulty of criminal arrest can be reduced, and the potential criminals can be warned, thus reducing the crime rate.

In the field of aeronautics and astronautics, the data image processing also has the very important application. It is not only reflected in the image taken and converted into digital information back to the ground, but also reflected in the analysis of the image. Data image processing technology will help people find out the information in the image more quickly and conveniently, and even dig out other useful information which is not easy to extract manually. This information may be used for resource survey, urban planning and other aspects. For example, resource survey can help improve the management of forest resources, and the preservation of good forest resources can be further protected and sustainable development; It is conducive to urban planning, making resource reuse more reasonable and protecting people’s interests to the greatest extent.
