Howto install matlab on Ubuntu

Matlab_2013A_MacOS_Unix_64.iso Ubuntu 12.04LTS

1. Install Furius ISO Mount fromUbuntu Software Center;

2. Launch Furius ISO Mount browse theiso, set Loop and thenmount the iso as:

   
   

3. $cd Matlab_2013A_MacOS_Unix_iso/

4. $sudo ./install

5. Follow the gui to finish theinstallation.

6. Activate matlab, use sudo toaccess the files:

   $cd /usr/local/Matlab/bin

   $sudo ./matlab

   Follow the gui to finish theactivation.

7. To start matlab:

   $cd /usr/local/Matlab/bin

   $sudo ./matlabs
