How to solve the following six faults of automobile air compressor? Analysis of    Linsheng Electrical Company    :

  

(1) Inlet and exhaust valves are not tightly closed. The seats and sealing surfaces of the intake and exhaust valves are uneven. It will cause the valve to close lax and leak, resulting in reduced exhaust volume or reduced exhaust pressure. When dirt, coke and other dirt are on the valve disc or seat, it should be removed by wood, bamboo or copper wire brush, and then cleaned. If the valve seat and disc are found to have wear, abrasion or groove defects, they can be repaired by grinding. When grinding with fine grinding paste on the grinding plate, the valve seat or disc should be pressed by hand and moved in the shape of "_" to avoid grinding deviation. If the defect cannot be eliminated, it should be replaced. The repaired valve seat and disc shall be tested with kerosene before use, and slight leakage shall be allowed during the test.

  

(2) Cylinder head bolt loosening and cylinder gasket damage. Bolt loosening will lead to air leakage. When bolt loosening is found, it should be tightened in accordance with the specified sequence and moment. When air leakage is found due to bad sealing caused by damaged cylinder gasket, the cylinder gasket should be replaced. When replacing, check whether the thickness of the cylinder gasket meets the requirements. If the piston is too thin, it may impact the cylinder head; if it is too thick, it will increase the clearance volume and reduce the exhaust volume.

  

(3) Serious wear of piston rings. When the lubrication is not good or the air filtering effect is not good, the piston ring will be seriously worn prematurely, and the gas in the cylinder will leak too much into the crankcase, resulting in insufficient exhaust pressure. If excessive wear of piston ring is found, it should be replaced as soon as possible.

  

(4) Blockage of air filter. When the filter is blocked, the filter element should be cleaned in time. When cleaning, it should be disassembled and decomposed. The shell and filter element should be cleaned in a petrol basin and the filters should be cleaned by compressed air. When reinstalling, the upper part of the filter element should be dipped in the oil, then turned upside down, wait for the oil to flow down, and then wipe off the excess oil after all the filter elements are covered (do not retain too much oil). When installing air filters, attention should be paid to tightness. Rubber sealing rings everywhere should not be omitted.

  

(5) V belt is loose and slippery. The relative position of air compressor and engine can be adjusted. The tension of V-belt can meet the required requirements. If excessive wear of V belt is found, it should be replaced.

  

(6) other faults. Commonly used are pulley and crankshaft mating surface slip relatively, pressure relief valve stuck leading to air compressor in a state of pressure relief, intake and exhaust valve seat loosening or valve spring breaking. These faults will cause too little exhaust volume or insufficient exhaust pressure, but they are easy to eliminate. Just find out the reason and deal with it according to the instructions.
