德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校(The University of Texas at Dallas, UTD)的纳文·金达尔管理学院创建了一个数据库，用于跟踪24种主要商业期刊上的出版物。该数据库包含1990年以来在这些期刊上发表的论文和作者单位信息，用于提供1990年以来前100名商学院排名。

管科领域的5本：最强王者（经管学院认可度最高的）

很多商学院只认UTD，没有UTD还是很难过tenure track，很多院校的tenure track是6年2篇UTD，实在是太残酷了。

《金融时报》于2016年5月对属于其研究排名的期刊进行了审查。结果，所考虑的期刊数量从之前的45种增加到了50种。

参加FT全球MBA，高级MBA或在线MBA排名的200多家商学院被邀请提交多达五种新期刊以将其包括在内，并将五种期刊从上一列表中排除。共有140所学校提交了投票，回应率为67％。

在10种精选期刊中，我们决定放弃四种分别获得60％或以上选票的期刊：

1. Academy of Management Perspectives
2. California Management Review
3. Journal of the American Statistical Association
4. RAND Journal of Economics.

在候选的150种新期刊中，票数最高的9种期刊（*）已添加到列表中。
