Summary: Wireless power transfer Technology provides an effective solution for the flexible power supply of moving equipment without shutdown and the safe and reliable power supply of electrical equipment in harsh and unmanned environments. It has great application prospects in deep space, deep sea, and deep underground exploration and has become a research hotspot in the field of electrical engineering and automation.
This workshop will focus on a range of topics including “Magnetic Coupling Wireless Power Transfer Technology”, “Electric Field Coupling Wireless Power Transfer Technology”, “New Energy transfer Mechanism”, “Electromagnetic Compatibility, Bioelectromagnetic Safety, Foreign Object Detection, and Interoperability”, and “Engineering Application Technologies of Wireless Power Transfer”. High-level experts from renowned research institutions, universities, and enterprises at home and abroad will share their research findings and practical experience. We look forward to discussing with you the widespread applications of wireless power transfer technology in areas such as smart homes, electric vehicles, mobile devices, medical equipment, and jointly promoting the development and innovation of this technology.

Zhi-Juan Liao, China University of Mining and Technology, China
Zhijuan Liao, female, associate professor, doctoral supervisor. She has hosted one general program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one youth program of National Natural Science Foundation of China (with an excellent conclusion), one sub-project of the national key research and development program, and one Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation youth program (with an excellent conclusion). She has published more than 30 papers in authoritative journals, with 15 of them being first-authored or corresponding-authored. She has applied for over 20 invention patents and been granted six of them. She has received one best paper award at an international conference (as the first author), one excellent paper award at the annual meeting of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (as the corresponding author), and one third-class prize for scientific and technological progress in electric power in Jiangsu Province (ranked second).

Wei Zhou, Southwest Jiaotong University, China
Dr. Wei Zhou, an associate professor from Southwest Jiaotong University, specializes in wireless power transfer technologies. He held B. E. and Ph. D. degree in 2018 and 2013 from Chongqing University. He was a scholar at the University of Auckland from 2016 to 2017. He serves as Committee Members of the Wireless Power Transfer Technology and Equipment Committee / the Education and Training Committee under the Chinese Society of Power Supply. He leads multiple projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China Projects and 2 Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Projects, with 10+ enterprise collaborations. He published 50+ journal papers, with 20+ of them being under first or corresponding authorship. He is a Top 5% highly cited scholar on CNKI with 1 ESI highly cited paper and 1 CNKI highly cited paper. He holds 9 patents with 1 US patent. Furthermore, he has served as a Guest Editor for the SCI journal ‘Electronics’, Executive Editorial Board Member for ‘Electric Engineering’, and Young Editorial Board Member for the ESCI journal ‘Electricity’. He has also been Local Organizing Chair and Session Chair for conferences for 10 times, and acts as a reviewer for journals including IEEE, IET, CSEE, and IEICE.

Xiaolin Mou, Shenzhen Technology University, China
Xiaolin Mou received a Ph.D. from the Department of Engineering, Durham University, UK, in 2018. Then worked as a postdoctoral associate researcher for almost 3 years with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, Shenzhen Technology University, Shenzhen, China. She has participated in many projects such as EU Horizon, Engineering Physics Research Council (EPSRC) and Innovation UK as the main R&D personnel, and currently presides over 2 research projects in progress. Her research areas include wireless power transfer technology, automated driving and intelligent optimization algorithms. Especially in the wireless charging system construction and platform design, automatic driving path planning algorithm research, control system design, etc. and already had a certain accumulation of work. She has published almost 20 academic papers in important journals and conferences, and 6 personal invention patents.
