你用对“纸巾”了没有？ 在英语当中，表达“纸巾”的词很多。如 tissue, ( paper ) napkin, serviette, toilet paper, facial paper, paper towel . 但这些词是有区别的，也就是说，在不同的场合用不同的“纸巾”。
一．餐巾
1. napkin ['næpkin] ：piece of paper used at meals for wiping one's lips and fingers. 例句：Clean your mouth with the napkin. 请用餐巾擦嘴。

5. wet wipes /tissue 湿巾 这组字是指用干热的火烤熟食物。Grill与美国人用的broil是同义字，表示直接的强热快速烤熟小块食物。鱼、家禽、肉，和某些蔬菜如番茄和蘑菇都可以grill。进行grill时，每次在火上只烤食物的一面，因火力强烈，被烤的一面焦封起来，使鱼、肉能够保持原汁和他们的内在鲜味与营养价值。Grilling需要烤架，这是一个有框架的金属栅格。待烤的事物放在栅格上，热源就在栅格的上方或下方。例如：to gill a chop（炙烤排骨）. 在发明炉灶前，roast的意思是用明火的热力烤熟食物，通常指烤熟一大块肉或整只牲畜或家禽。例如：toroast a pig（烤一只猪）.Roasting的过程比grilling慢；待烤的食物通常是穿在铁叉上，可以转动，使食物的所有各面轮流对着热源。现在roasting却是在烤炉内进行，利用辐射和反射热力烤熟，此外还利用盛食物烤盘所传送的热力。这种roasting比旧法迅速，但仍较grilling慢。Roast也支付把食物放在热灰，余烬或热石块等物中，放够了时间，就可以变热。它也可能指在热力之下焙干和烤脆。例如：to roast coffee（烘咖啡）;roasted peanuts（煨花生）.
Bake和roast相同之处是它也指在烤炉或类似的封闭器物内用连续不断的干热烤制。在烹调方法方面，这两个字并无差别。Roast与bake之间的差别是前者差不多专指大块的肉或家禽，后者却可以适用于在烤炉内烤制的任何其他事物。例如：to bake a cake（烘蛋糕）;to bake fish（烤鱼）;to bake a casserole of meat and vegetables（烤一盘菜肉）;baked potatoes（烤马铃薯）.Barbecue是用烤叉或在栅格上或在叫作barbecue坑的沟边上grill或roast肉（通常是牛肉、猪肉或鸡肉）。人们可在炽热的碳或明火上barbecue肉。现代barbecue的烤具自烧小木块或碳的小三角凹面炉子到用煤气或电热转动烤肉器，繁简不同。Barbecued食物可能是整只牲畜或大块肉。要烤的肉常用很浓的酱汁腌浸涂抹。例如：barbecued loin chops（烤腰排骨）.作为一个名词时，barbecue通常是指请客人吃barbecued食物的户外聚会。例如：Can you come to abarbecue at our place on Saturday night（你能在星期六晚上到我家来参加烧烤野宴吗）?
