Content Type Hub在SharePoint On Premise版本的时候就已经存在，在Office365中微软保留了Content Type Hub. 不同的是在Office365中这个站点是作为一个隐藏站点存在。地址是https://<<Tenant>>/sites/contenttypehub, 它不能从O365的管理中心直接看到。
创建content type的时候，打开content type hub站点，点击Site Content Types, 创建要发布的新的content type. 本例中创建了一个叫做Legal Document的Content Type, 并且在Site Column中新增了两个Column加到Content Type中：Case Name, Case Closure Date.
创建完成之后，在这个Content Type的配置页面，点击Manage Publishing for this content type.
选择Publish选项并点击Ok。
这个Content Type Publish成功之后，会显示“最近一次成功发布的时间”。
这个时候到需要接收Content Type的目标站点的Site Setting页面，选择Content Type Publishing选项，选择Refresh All published Content Types并且点击Ok.
Content Type接收成功之后会在此页面出现Subscribed Content Type的信息。这里Content Type的ID和它在Content Type Hub里的Content Type ID保持一致。
之前在Content Type Hub创建的Site Column也同步到目标站点：
我们之前碰到一个比较极端的例子，一个客户的环境中，创建新站点需要很长的时间（几个小时），而通常环境中创建一个站点最多就是几分钟。经过多方排查及同微软support一起看问题，结论是因为客户的content type hub中publish的content type太多了，有超过800个，同步这些content type到新站点中导致了每次创建新站点的时间大大延长。
