CentOS 7 configures Tsinghua University EPEL image

1. Backup CentOS-Base.repo

sudo cp /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo.bak

2. Configure CentOS-Base.repo

Use the following configuration to overwrite the /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo file

If you do not want to check the gpg public key, gpgcheck is set to 0.

 

3. Install the EPEL image

yum  install epel-release

 

 

Four. Configure EPEL

Use the following command to replace epel to use Tsinghua University source

sed -e 's!^metalink=!#metalink=!g' \
    -e 's!^#baseurl=!baseurl=!g' \
    -e 's!//download\.fedoraproject\.org/pub!//mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn!g' \
    -e 's!http://mirrors\.tuna!https://mirrors.tuna!g' \
    -i /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo /etc/yum.repos.d/epel-testing.repo

 

 

5. A simpler way to use EPEL mirroring

rpm -ivh https://mirrors.tuna.tsinghua.edu.cn/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
