Guanyu Lin, a member of the OpenStack Technical Committee and senior engineer of EasyStack, has been deeply involved in the code contribution and community construction of the OpenStack community for many years. Its long-term goal is to start with the most basic version of the community to ensure that all versions of OpenStack can continue to be compatible with various CPU architectures. At present, from small unit testing, packaging Python libraries, to actual case compatibility and problem reporting, all have been included in the Multi-arch SIG goal and started actual work. In the future, after ensuring the quality of testing and release on the Arm64 architecture through the community, performance adjustments and process simplifications will be further carried out for the Arm64 architecture.

Currently, Multi-arch SIG has received support from Huawei, Easy Cloud, Red Hat, IBM and many other companies. Guanyu Lin said that the Multi-arch SIG welcomes developers, users, and operators who are interested in multi-architecture to join in different roles, and jointly promote the construction of Multi-arch's standardized system in the OpenStack community, and promote the development of Arm and other versions of OpenStack. Integration and collaboration across open source projects will become the mainstream trend
