China announces 2021 Linux system supplier winning bidder

Recently, the National Government Procurement Network published an announcement on the transaction of the 2020-2021 Linux operating system agreement supply procurement project for the central state agency , and a total of 6 domestic Linux system vendors were shortlisted.

It is reported that this government procurement will be formally collected from December 30, 2020. The collection is divided into two packages, the first package: Linux desktop operating system; the second package: Linux  server operating system. The scope of solicitation includes: the supply, transportation, installation, commissioning and after-sales service, operation and maintenance services of the above products. All technical requirements of the project must be met, otherwise the response will be rejected. At the same time, the response product should be the mainstream model commonly used in the current market, and bidders must not provide "special supply" or "special supply" products.

After nearly half a month’s public solicitation, a total of 8 vendors responded to the first package (Linux desktop operating system). Among them, Beijing Red Flag Software Co., Ltd. and Yiming Software Co., Ltd. failed to meet the substantive requirements of procurement requirements. Passed compliance review; Kylin Software Co., Ltd., Tongxin Software Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongke Fangde Software Co., Ltd., Zhongke Hongqi (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd., PwC Basic Software Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhongxing New Fulcrum Technology Co., Ltd. The company's six manufacturers have all passed the compliance review and entered the next review stage.

There are 10 vendors responding to the second package (Linux server operating system). Among them, Yiming Software Co., Ltd., Beijing Red Flag Software Co., Ltd., Beijing Tuolinsi Software Co., Ltd., and the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are not meeting the procurement requirements. The substantive requirements of the company failed the compliance review; Kylin Software Co., Ltd., Pricewater Foundation Software Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhongxing New Fulcrum Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongke Fangde Software Co., Ltd., Tongxin Software Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongke Hongqi (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd. These 6 companies passed the review and were shortlisted for the next review stage.
