After the wireless router is connected to the broadband Internet, the router will obtain an IP address from the broadband operator. This IP address can be seen in the running state, but from the operator The IP address obtained from the office is not fixed and will change frequently. When the router restarts or powers off and connects to the broadband Internet again, the IP address of the router's WAN port usually changes, so it is impossible to use the current public IP to access the router     's dynamic DNS. The function is to solve the problem that the IP address of the router's WAN port often changes. After successfully setting the dynamic DNS, you can use a certain domain name to access the router. No matter how the IP address of the router's WAN port changes, you can always use this domain name to remotely access the router. TP-LINK dynamic DNS is provided by the peanut shell service provider.
  2.     If you don’t have a peanut shell account, click "Peanut Shell Dynamic Service Application" to register an account
  3. Return to the dynamic DNS setting interface, fill in the account information and click login
  4.     At this time, Peanut Shell will automatically assign you a default shell domain name. You can also add a shell domain name, but at this time, ping the current domain name 20pe544.iask.in does not resolve to the router’s public IP because it is required when using the Peanut Shell service Real-name authentication, and open the peanut shell service in the domain name management interface. After filling in the real-name authentication information and uploading it, the dynamic analysis service will be opened immediately, and ping 20pe544.iask.in again to successfully resolve the router’s public IP.

    At this point, we parsed the router's public network IP in real time, which did not fully meet our needs. Our ultimate goal is that the WAN can use the IP+port number to access the specific service of a host on the LAN (such as the IDRAC remote management card website used here) Service), virtual server and DMZ host can meet this demand, and DMZ host is not needed for the time being, because we do not need to expose the remote management card to the WAN completely.

    The static address 192.168.0.120 set by the DELL-R720 remote management card uses the HTTPS protocol, port number 443, a new entry under the router forwarding rule virtual server, requests from the wide area port 8120 are mapped to the LAN 192.168.0.120 Port 443, enter the URL https://20pe544.iask.in:8120/start.html in the browser, and successfully open the remote management card login interface.

    At this time, no matter where you are, you can know the running status of the server at home in real time, and you can also perform more magical operations such as remote switch on and off~

 

! Note: After manually configuring the static address for the server network card, the router should set the static address reservation, otherwise, it may cause IP address conflicts when the number of clients increases.
