Several important AD Active Directory database names:
Ntds.dit AD database file
Edbxxxxx.log transaction log file, current log file
Edb.chk checkpoint file
Res1.log and res2.log reserved log files
Temp.edb temporary database maintenance file
Edbtmp.log log temporary file
Backup Active East Directory database
Install windows server Backup component
Environment: Windows server 2012 r2 adds roles and functions, the wizard installs the component, as shown below
After installation, open Computer Management→Storage→windows server Backup, as shown in the figure
Step 2: Open the interface you enter, find the storage, click on it, then click on local backup, and click on one-time backup on the right side of the interface, as shown in the figure
The next step can be selected directly to the next step, or as shown below
You can also select the following add option, the content that needs to be backed up
Click Advanced to backup to where, or you can restrain it
I back up directly to the local disk here. Since I don’t have any other disks here, I back up directly to the c drive.
Since the extra disk was not separated during the previous installation and the c drive did not have enough space, all the following experiments could not be completed
