sqlserver login failed 18456 solution

Prompt user sa login failed, microsoft server, error: 18456

solution:

1. Use windows authentication to log in to the database

2. Select sa----property

3. General---Update password, click OK

4. Status---Select enable

5. Click User Status and select OK

6. Right click and select OK

7. Then select the user, reboot
