Pushing open the door of Jimeng Technology, you can see the whole picture of this small company that has only been established for three months. There are 10 employees sitting on two rows of tables and chairs, and Xie Mengjun's workstation is also among them. Our interview was conducted in the company's only small conference room.
"How is your state recently?" The reporter asked with concern because he knew that Xie Mengjun's life had changed a lot during this period.
"Busy, very busy. I used to have time to do things I liked, but now I basically '996' and '997' are on the company." It seems to be a complaint, but at this time Xie Mengjun seems to have become a kind of happiness. He kept smiling, and his tone sounded particularly happy.
After the earthquake: Do what you want to do
Three months ago, Xie Mengjun was still working at Apple as a senior engineer of core systems, responsible for the software architecture of Apple's entire industrial manufacturing in China, and lived a leisurely ten-to-five life. In addition to being an Apple engineer, Xie Mengjun is also the founder of GopherChina, the study committee member of EGO Shanghai Chapter, and the author of the book "Go Web Programming". Every role plays a strong role and is very appealing and influential in the technical circle.
In August of this year, Xie Mengjun took his family, young and old, to start a mighty trip to Jiuzhaigou. Unfortunately, they encountered the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Jiuzhaigou. When the earthquake happened, Xie Mengjun was taking a shower in the hotel where he was staying. Suddenly, the whole room began to shake, and the lights and the TV fell. Xie Mengjun realized that there was an earthquake! He immediately rushed out of the bathroom and fled the hotel with his family.
Escape to the already crowded open space was only a temporary escape. The lives of his parents, wife and children were still under threat, and Xie Mengjun had no time to be afraid. He envisioned over and over again what might happen next, thinking about how to deal with it. It takes at least a few hours to drive out from Jiuzhaigou. Mudslides and landslides can happen at any time, and there are dangers everywhere. For Xie Mengjun at the moment, every step needs to be extremely cautious.
In the next few hours, after many setbacks, he and his family finally escaped from Jiuzhaigou and out of danger. After the whole family arrived in Shanghai safely, he posted a meaningful circle of friends "experienced the thrill of the mountains, and also gained the tranquility of the ocean".
A month later, he has a new identity, the CEO of "Jimeng Smart Technology". Yes, he started a business.
"Does it have anything to do with the earthquake?" The reporter asked half-jokingly.
"It does matter," Xie Mengjun smiled and continued, "After experiencing the earthquake, I felt that life was short, and I strengthened my confidence to do what I want to do!"
In fact, before the earthquake, Xie Mengjun had weighed the pros and cons of staying at Apple: Apple is a foreign-owned company, and many things are dominated by the American team. But Apple's advantages are also very prominent. The affirmation and trust of the leaders, the comfortable working environment, and the generous benefits... all these made Xie Mengjun hesitant.
When he returned from Jiuzhaigou, he asked himself: "Is this the way I am all my life? It's boring, I still need to make some changes."
Thus, Jimeng Intelligence was established.
Core advantage: both depth and breadth
Jimeng Intelligent Technology is an industrial intelligent technology company dedicated to the management and application of big data in the production process. Although the direction of industrial big data has been vigorously promoted by the country, the threshold is very high. Xie Mengjun believes that it is almost impossible to do industrial big data without two or three years of industry experience. If you want to understand this industry, you may need to hone in the factory for a few years to learn some necessary manufacturing knowledge, and then study industrial big data on this basis.
However, Jimeng Intelligence does not have such troubles - Xie Mengjun and another partner are experts in the field of industrial big data.
Xie Mengjun has worked at Apple for three years and has managed many factories. He is familiar with the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to a mature product. Xie Mengjun has rich experience in how to string together each factory, how to cooperate with each other in the production chain, and how to predict the output. These experiences have given Xie Mengjun enough industry breadth advantages.
而积梦智能的另外一位合伙人来自上汽，上汽在中国所有的制造业里面，无论是自动化程度还是技术先进程度都是很高的。这位合伙人在上汽工作了两年，做过整套的深度分析系统，对行业的深度足够了解。
在谢孟军看来，兼具广度和深度是积梦智能的优势。也是因为有这样的优势，积梦智能在两个月不到时间内，就有了一个雏形。
因为合伙人的牵线搭桥，积梦智能取得了和上汽质保部沟通的机会。积梦科技展示的软件功能和性能最终打动了他们，于是他们决定使用积梦智能数据分析系统来替换已有的国外软件，成了积梦智能的第一个客户。
经过一段时间的现场使用和验证，积梦智能大数据分析系统的性能获得了上汽的认可和赞赏，无论是运行速度还是稳定性都超出他们的预期。
据谢孟军透露，积梦和一汽的合作也正在进行中。
资本青睐：不着急扩张
10 月 23 日，积梦智能正式宣布完成 2000 万人民币天使轮融资，由真格基金投资。此时积梦智能成立仅一个多月。
两位合伙人的背景优势、产品成型速度和创业方向都得到了真格基金的认可。真格基金董事总经理兼华东区负责人顾旻曼表示：“我觉得积梦做的方向正是智能制造这个大方向里的核心环节，如何使用先进的软硬件和流程管理，帮助企业更好地提高制造水平，从而能够达标承接更多高精尖的订单，同时实现更好的成本控制。”
谢孟军表示，资金将主要用于团队建设、市场推广、技术交流、深度合作等方面。本轮融资对于积梦智能的发展意义重大 —— 这意味着积梦智能得到了资本市场的认可，在获得这笔数额巨大的天使轮融资后，积梦智能的未来有着无限可能。
同时，通过融资，积梦智能可以扩大研发团队和市场团队的规模，让产品快速迭代和推广，在市场中占据有利地位。
天使轮拿 2000 万，数目算是非常大了。谢孟军想迅速把公司做成工业大数据领域的龙头企业，创业公司比的就是时间。但是很多事情还是要靠慢慢的积累，靠时间积累出来的东西才不那么容易被摧毁，所以要在快速和积累之间做平衡。这个矛盾的存在让谢孟军感到有些焦虑。
但无论是资本青睐还是焦虑心态，都没有让谢孟军乱了节奏，他并不想快速扩张团队。谢孟军是技术出身，在技术圈认识的人很多，行业影响力也特别大，知道他出来创业后很多技术人想要加入他的团队。但谢孟军认为，招人现在还不是特别着急，“我不想扩张那么快，我希望能够有一定节奏的扩展。”
谢孟军认为要先把企业文化建立起来，受苹果公司的影响，谢孟军想建立一个“对内绝对开放，对外相对保守”的企业文化。除此之外，还有一点就是真诚，对客户要真诚，做产品也要真诚。
谢孟军说：“我想把公司的整个风格往这个方向去带，而人扩张的太快，会把原有的文化稀释掉。所以人要一个一个的招进来，一点点的让他们融合到我们文化里。”
愿景 ：工业大数据分析领域的龙头企业
谢孟军把现在的制造业分成了两块：一块是没有数据的；一块是有数据，但是没信息的，也就是富数据穷信息。而积梦智能就是帮他们对着这些数据进行管理、筛选、分析和挖掘，找出数据和数据的关联性，数据的利用程度等信息。谢孟军认为目前市场上很缺少这样的产品，少数的几家做 EPR 、MES 的公司都是国外的。
“现在，国外的工业大数据分析也刚起步，美国虽然有几家这样的公司，但是也是刚开始做，我觉得我们中国应该有这样的企业。工业大数据分析的那一套东西有点类似工厂大脑，它会帮你分析所有工厂里面的数据，然后来指导生产。
我希望能够做成一家国际知名的公司，就像我做 Beego 一样，我做 Beego 、做 GO 框架的时候，国内外都没什么框架。后来不断付出，不断努力之后，Beego 就成为一个世界知名的框架。我希望积梦能够成为工业大数据分析领域的龙头企业。”
而关于用多久来实现这个宏伟的目标，谢孟军并没有计划，他说：“我是一个惯用笨方法的人，坚持一件事情，就一直做，就像我做很多事情一样。坚持的时候，我不知道什么时候能成功，但我知道做很多事都需要时间积累，我有这个韧性，我有坚持的品质。”
