vmware workstation self-installation

After installation, vmware needs to be patched to support the installation of macos system

Or search for the latest version of Mac OS X Unlocker for VMware, the latest versions I found are 2.0.8 and 2.0.9RC3

After downloading, unzip anywhere, close the running virtual machine, and run win-install.cmd with administrator privileges. To update vmware-tools separately, run win-update-tools.cmd.

Select mac os 10.12 for the new virtual machine, and the version number of high sierra is 10.13. I can only choose 10.12 for vmware here, but it can also be installed. You can also install 10.12 and then upgrade to 10.13.

Open the vmx file of the virtual machine

find smc.present="TRUE"

Add a line after smc.version = 0

Looking for a macos iso or cdr format image on the Internet, it must be in iso or cdr format. Apple does not provide an iso format image, and the iso or cdr format image is converted by someone else on macos.

Then you can install
