These folders are called Shell Folders
only by modifying" data", you can change their storage path. Double-click the name to be modified, fill in the full path you want to change in the "Value Data" of the "Edit String" that pops up, and press "OK" to complete. If you don't have what you need, you can right-click in the right window, select the "String Value" command in the "New" menu, and add a string value for the Shell folder corresponding to the above table.

Finally, don't forget to export and save the modified part of the registry, so that after reinstalling the system, you can directly import it without modifying it again.
Note: After modifying the path value of the folder, the files in the original folder will not be moved to the new folder, but only the direction of the folder will be changed.



For example: change the path of ie favorites:
By default, the corresponding file of favorites is located under C:\Documents and Settings\user\Favorites, to change its location, you can do this.

Open the registry, find [ HKEY__CURRENT USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/UserShell Folders], find and double-click the key named 'Favorites' in the pane on the right, and enter in the opened window where you want your favorites to be located path, (eg: d:/favorites), press F5 to refresh and exit the registry.
Open IE, at this time, the system will create a folder named 'Favorites' on the E disk, now just copy the files under the original favorites to the 'Favorites' folder on the E disk. Things that will be favorited in the future will be automatically added to it.



Change the default installation path of the system

3. Find the value of ProgramFilesDir, and change the default value of "c:\Program Files" to the folder you want to install to, such as "d:\Program Files".
