Confessions of a tester: Long test road, we are great by being secretive

I have been immersed in APP testing for many years, some bitterness and some tiredness have been engraved in my bones, the taste may only be known to us, and we want to talk about it, but we don’t know where to start, so these days I have always given myself a little leisure. , I have sorted out the miscellaneous life in the past few years. I can't say it enough, but I also want to share it in pieces. It should be the only interest left.

I was stumbled into this line of work, and the stress and hesitation at the beginning of my job made me a drowning person who couldn't drown, struggling desperately in the water, forced to accept this feeling of suffocation. But I couldn't climb the five-finger mountain of life, so I had to endure it silently, and what I was going forward was the dark night jungle with no way out, I had to wait for me to explore.

Daily repetitive operations are like a quagmire, but it is lifting that keeps us afloat in the quagmire without getting bogged down. Because I know that the test is not as simple as it seems, and it is not so easy to do it well. Some people do not make progress after a few years. It is not for you to simply point there, but you also have to think.

Now the entire testing industry can be described as thriving, and some representative companies in the industry are bringing various new technologies and new thinking to stimulate changes in the testing field at the time of the surging Internet revolution. Sometimes I can't help but think, is it even a mobile test to just click on the phone? We work overtime every day and are exhausted. Why is it not taken seriously in the company? We are always on the front line of project quality, ready to take the blame for the project at any time. Why are we often complained about the project? Are testers really vulnerable?

I just want to say that because of responsibility, sometimes we have to believe that responsibility makes us "secret and great". In fact, no matter what industry we are in, there is nothing wrong with being responsible for our work. We don't need to complain, but we need to dabble in a lot of knowledge. When determining a development direction, research it in a specific and in-depth manner.

As for the so-called "dot dot", there are actually many things that allow you to avoid such tedious operations, such as automated Platforms are emerging constantly. We should learn to selectively use some existing auxiliary means as needed. We need to spare time for development planning and self-improvement. To test whether this road can be widened, we need to pay ourselves. If a few years later, you just change from "a little bit" to "a little bit", even if your income is increasing, can you be satisfied with a cumbersome and meaningless life?

What to learn and how to plan, I don’t want to take things for granted and say what I think. Generalizations are definitely not the truth. You have to start from yourself, find your own needs in your work, and then move forward, comparing yourself to others. It is easier to achieve self-worth by drawing a map forward, that is, "take it from me, do it for me", learn to summarize and think, and you may be able to discover your own needs faster. If you follow blindly, you are just confused.

The story has not yet begun, and a few words have already been written, but I think there is too much to say in this line. I typed the first word, and the old rolls of film rolled in my mind. It's endless, I don't know what to say, and I'm afraid of boring the audience with the long description. I also rarely complete it. I fragment my life and leave it behind.
