MySQL5.7 configuration instructions Windows

1. The location of the configuration file my.ini

Hidden folder: C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7

 

2. Modify the data directory

       1. Stop the MySQL service

       2. Copy the folder [C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7\Data] to your own path [E:\ProgramFiles\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.7\Data]

       3. Modify the configuration file my.ini [datadir=E:/ProgramFiles/MySQL/MySQL Server 5.7/Data]

       4. Restart the MYSQL service
