We often need to start some software after booting, such as Feige, WeChat and so on. There are many ways to add startup items to Windows, for example: adding to the "Startup" folder, adding to the registry, and using the task scheduler. The following only lists the first one: add to the startup folder, and the test environment is Win 10
solution
1. Press the Win + R key combination to open the "Run" window, and then enter shell:startup, as shown in the figure:
2. The previous step will open the Startup folder. Create a shortcut in this folder to the programs and scripts that need to run at startup.
- Right-click on an empty space in the folder window, select New -> Shortcut.
- In the Create Shortcut dialog box, enter the full path to the program or script to run at startup, and then click Next.
- Enter a name for the shortcut, and click Finish.
The shortcut is created and succeeded, as shown in the figure:
3. Now, the startup item is added successfully. Let's check it through the task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc):
