CS9025C micro-stepping motor driver chip can be pin-to-pin compatible with DRV8825

The CS9025C is an integrated microstepping motor driver with a built-in step table , providing a solution for printers, scanners and other automation equipment. It is designed to enable stepper motors to work in full, half, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 step modes. The stepping mode is selected by logic input MODEX. The output drive capability reaches ±2.5A. The attenuation mode of CS9025C is programmable. Decoder is the key to easy implementation of CS9025C. Simply inputting a pulse through STEP can make the motor complete a step, eliminating the need for phase sequence tables, high-frequency control lines and complex programming interfaces. This makes it more suitable for applications where complex microprocessors are not available or are overburdened. The internal synchronous rectification control circuit improves power consumption during PWM operation. Internal protection circuits include: overheat protection with hysteresis, undervoltage lockout and overcurrent protection. No special power-up sequence is required.
The CS9025C offers an ETSSOP28 package with an exposed pad, which can effectively improve heat dissipation performance, and is a lead-free product. Its rated operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
