One-minute graph paper: "Research Status and Prospects of UGC Quality at Home and Abroad"

Today, UGC (User-Generated Content, user-generated content) has widely existed in every corner of cyberspace, such as blogs, wikis, WeChat public accounts, Weibo, etc., and has become common content in our daily life. However, there are indeed problems with the information quality of some platforms, such as Weibo and other platforms that have a lot of garbage and fake content. In order to systematically study the quality problems of UGC, Dr. Jin Yan from the School of Information Management of Zhengzhou University systematically sorted out the research status of UGC quality at home and abroad in the article "Research Status and Prospects of UGC Quality at Home and Abroad". The evaluation and quality control are researched and analyzed, and finally the development direction of UGC in the future is proposed:

The current quality control measures for UGC mainly include:

1. Technical management measures : adopt information filtering, data mining and other technologies
2. Process management measures : refer to enterprise process management to carry out UGC content
3. Information organization control measures : such as introducing ontology to control social tags
4. Incentive measures : establish an honor reward mechanism

Improvements:

• The current research belongs to ex post control theory, which has hysteresis
• The current single quality assessment and control method based on UGC content attributes cannot fully adapt to the diversity and polymorphism of UGC content.
