line spacing
In fact, it is the height occupied by a line.
1.25 times the line spacing is equal to 1.25 times the font size . The exact point size depends on the font used. For example, if a 12 point font is used, then 1.25 leading would be 15 points.
If you have two lines of 12 point text with 1.25 times the line spacing, how many points are there between the two lines?
According to the introduction, line spacing refers to the height of each line of text, which is a multiple of the font size. So, if the font size is 12 points and the line spacing is 1.25 times, then the height of each line of text is 12×1.25=15 points. Therefore, there is (15-12)/2=1.5 points of blank space below the text, and there is a blank space above the text, and there is a 3-point blank space between the two lines of words.
