At present, most of the journals submitted are journals under Elsevier, such as Acta, JAC, MSEA, JMST, etc. Take JAC as an example. The following is a step-by-step submission process: (Take a journal under Elsevier as an example)
0. Enter the journal submission homepage, usually open the journal homepage, click [Submit your article] to enter
1. Register an account
2. Log in to your account and enter the submission process
2.1 Select the submission type
2.2 Upload related files
Tip: It is recommended to enter the system in advance or check the documents required for submission in the Guide for Authors, and then enter the submission process when you are ready.
2.2.1 Declaration of Interests
After the selection is complete, save it as a file and upload it directly without modification.
2.3 Adding general information
2.4 Add recommended reviewers (general journals require 3-5)
You can find a tutor to recommend, you need your name, unit and email address;
You can find the corresponding author in the references.
2.5 Fill in some additional questions. Different journals have different questions. Be careful to ask your supervisor or seniors if you are not sure. The questions and answers in this submission are given below.

3. Create PDF, click【Build PDF for Approval】
Enter the following page, just wait, the status will be updated after creation
4. Download the PDF file. After confirming that it is correct, click I accept, and then click Aprove Submission on the left to complete the entire submission process.
5. Enter the journal submission system again to check the submission status

Submitted to Journal The first draft is submitted successfully, waiting for the editorial department to receive it
with editor universal state (editing processing/waiting for editor to assign reviewers/waiting for editor to process reviewer comments)
under review Reviewing... (Congratulations for submitting for review)
Revision Submitted to Journal The revision manuscript is waiting for the editorial department to receive it
