2. Appearance comparison

  Let's compare the size of the purchased T245 soldering iron tip with Tuoer's soldering iron tip. This is the soldering iron tip disassembled from the Tuoer T12 soldering station, and this is the newly arrived T245 soldering iron tip. Take out the T245 soldering iron tip. Put them side by side, you can see that the newly purchased soldering iron tip is 4mm shorter than the Thor soldering iron tip. The diameter of the outermost side is 4.5 mm, and the diameter of the middle metal handle is 3 mm. So there is only a slight difference in length between them.

3. Measuring Resistance

  The resistance relationship between the three electrodes of the soldering iron tip is . There is almost a short circuit between the outermost layer and the core. The distance between the middle layer and the outermost layer is about 2.5 ohms to 3.5 ohms. The resistance of the newly purchased T245 is about 3.5 ohms. Tull's soldering iron tip is about 2.5 ohms.

4. Heating temperature

  Now use the T245 soldering iron tip you just bought, put it on the Tuoer soldering station, and set the constant temperature to 350 degrees. Now see that the temperature is only raw to about 240 degrees Celsius. If the constant temperature is increased to 400 degrees, the thermocouple temperature can only reach about 275 degrees Celsius. So this purchased soldering iron tip cannot be used on the Tuoer soldering station.

  If the soldering iron tip of the original Tuoer soldering station is replaced, the temperature of the soldering iron tip measured by a thermocouple is 350 degrees. But after changing to T245, the temperature of the soldering iron tip is very low. It can be seen that although the purchased soldering iron tip can be heated by Tuoer soldering station, the temperature of the constant temperature varies greatly.
