1. Network camera model: DS-2CD5047EFWD

2. Download SADP software:

First, log in to Hikvision’s official website www.hikvision.com and then select Service and Support → Download → Hikvision Tools (including tools such as SADP and recording capacity calculation) → Device Network Search Software (SADP) http://www.hikvision . com/cn/download_more_393.html .

or:

SADP software download address: https://www.cr173.com/soft/97621.html

3. Connect to the network

After the IP camera is installed, it needs to configure the functions and set the parameters, which can be configured through the browser.

Before configuration, please make sure that the network camera is connected to the computer and can access the network camera that needs to be set. There are two connection methods as follows: (1) Connect the camera, switch (or other intermediate device), and client (pc) through a straight-through cable; (2) Connect the camera to the client directly through a crossover network cable.

4. Activate and configure the camera

The network camera must be advanced and activated, and a login password must be set before it can be logged in and used normally.

The network camera can be activated through SADP software, client software and browser. The following uses the SADP software activation method as an example to illustrate:

(1) Install the SADP software. After running the software, the SADP software will automatically search for all online devices in the LAN, and the list will display information such as device type, IP address, activation status, device serial number, and EZVIZ cloud status;

Note: The initial IP address of the network camera: 192.168.1.64

(2) Check the network camera that is not activated, set the network camera password in "Activate Device", click "Activate" to complete the activation of the network camera. After successfully activating the camera, the "Activation Status" in the list will be updated to "Activated";

Note: SADP software supports batch activation of network cameras

(3) Check the activated IP camera, and set the IP address, subnet mask, gateway and other information of the IP camera. Enter the IP camera password, click "Modify", and after the prompt "Modify parameters successfully", it means that the parameter settings such as IP are valid.

  • When setting the IP address of the network camera, keep the IP address of the device and the IP address of the computer's local network connection (not wireless network connection) in the same network.

Note: The setting parameters in this article are: keep the network camera parameters unchanged (IP: 192.168.1.64), and modify the IP address of the local network connection to (192.168.1.65).

5. Login and logout

Open the browser and enter the IP address of the IP camera in the address bar (the IP in this article is: 192.168.1.64) to log in.

Note: When logging in with a browser, the problem you often encounter is that you cannot access the camera after entering the IP address in the URL.

Problem: Hikvision IP cameras are greatly affected by the type and version of the browser when logging in with the browser. It does not support win10's own browser and the latest version of Google's browser to log in.

Solution: Use other browsers such as IE browser, QQ browser or 360 browser to log in.
