Background Note
One monitor on a desktop computer is not enough for me, and I don't have many monitors at hand. My laptop has a screen, but I can't directly connect the HDMI cable to expand the screen on the desktop. After researching for a period of time, I found that using spacedesk software can basically solve this problem perfectly.

Software download and installation
Download the latest version from the official website (requires scientific access): https://www.spacedesk.net/download/

spacedesk server : installed on the host computer.
spacedesk client : installed on the computer used as secondary screen expansion.
Instructions
1. Make sure that the two computers are on the same network segment.
For example, the ip of my desktop computer is 192.168.4.95, and the ip of my notebook is 192.168.4.92
2. Open the spacedesk software
- Open the spacedesk server on the host computer

Open the spacedesk client on the computer as the secondary screen
3. Optimized settings of spacedesk client
- Turn off touch function
- Set the resolution displayed as the secondary screen
- Full-screen display and keep the secondary display from turning off

Image quality compression and frame rate setting (too high image quality may cause freeze, just adjust it to be clear and smooth)
4. Start to use and close to use
- start

Close: There are two ways,
One is to close the client
The other is to close it on the server side (this method is recommended, because after opening the server side again, the above settings allow the client to automatically reconnect)
