In the process of learning distributed, I know the word PaaS, but I don't know what it means. After searching online, I made a simple understanding. Here is a brief record for future reference.
- IAAS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) infrastructure as a service
The definition of online is to provide infrastructure resources (such as servers, storage and networks) to users through virtualization technology.
For example: we usually buy ECS servers on Alibaba Cloud ( just rent as many resources as you want ).
- PAAS (Platform-as-a-Service) platform as a service
It is also a cloud service that provides a complete set of platforms, including operating systems, hardware facilities, databases, development tools, etc.
Typical examples are: WeChat applets ( give you a platform to develop your own applications )
These may be some services that provide external interfaces, similar to API interfaces?
- SAAS (Softwar-as-a-Service) software as a service
Provide software programs to end users through the cloud platform, users do not need to purchase and install software, and use cloud services through subscription. Similar to
: typical such as Baidu cloud disk ( just use it directly )
Alibaba cloud disk, Alibaba cloud cloud shadow desktop, open and use?
