Arduino drives infrared carbon dioxide sensor (gas sensor)

Table of contents

1. Sensor characteristics

2. Driver

Infrared laser sensor is a high-performance sensor produced by combining mature infrared absorption gas detection technology with precise optical path design and sophisticated circuit design. It has high sensitivity, high resolution, low power consumption, fast response, anti-water vapor interference, and no Poisoning, high stability, long service life and so on. This blog post uses Arduino to drive an infrared carbon dioxide sensor. The sensor uses the principle of non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) to detect CO2 in the air. It has good selectivity and no oxygen dependence, and its service life can reach 5 years.

1. Sensor characteristics

The sensor has built-in temperature compensation and supports DAC output. It only needs one digital port to read the current CO2 gas concentration. It is very easy to use and compatible with various microcontrollers and sensors.

The technical indicators of the sensor are as follows:

  •  Output signal: PWM</
