The National Post-Graduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling is one of the themed events of the "National Post-Graduate Innovation Practice Series" . It is usually held in mid-September and lasts for four days.
Competition topics are generally derived from practical problems in the fields of engineering and management , and are refined and processed. Participants are not required to master in-depth expertise in advance. Competition propositions are widely collected from graduate training units, enterprises and institutions across the country, and will be finalized after discussion by an expert committee.
The work submitted by the contestant should be a paper including model assumptions, model establishment, model solution, model improvement, and result analysis and testing. The criteria for evaluating the works are mainly the rationality, creativity, and standardization of the written expression of the model and its assumptions and results.
The awards for this competition can be calculated based on national awards (about 40% of the national awards winning rate)
Let me share with you a collection of excellent papers on mathematical modeling by postgraduate students over the years.
