1. System installation
Because UOS online one-click installation has been discontinued, currently only U disk image installation is available.
Making a USB boot disk is particularly critical. I tried using the "UltraISO" software to make a boot disk, but various errors were reported during installation.
When I first selected the mode USB-HDD+V2/USB-ZIP+V2 and other modes, it prompted errors such as boot file not found and could not jump to the installation interface.
After selecting USB-HDD mode, you can jump to grub boot option selection, but it prompts syslinux 6.03 eddboot error (actually some startup files are missing during production).
Finally, I downloaded "rufus-3.8.exe". When making it, you will be prompted to download "ldlinux.sys" and other files. Just choose to download. Finally, the boot disk created by this software can successfully install the system.
2. HID application running
① Because the application developed by myself is not on the UOS store, the installation requires root permissions. However, the installed system version does not support root permissions and needs to enter the developer mode. Therefore, you must first enter the developer mode and install your own application with root permissions.
②After the application is installed, if it is not executed through sudo, the HID device cannot be operated normally. At this time, you need to create the property file of your own device in /etc/udev/rudes.d/, and the permissions need to be written to be readable and writable by all users (see the previous section for details) blog post).
