Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2024) - This feast that brings together innovative sparks and wisdom collisions such as HarmonyOS NEXT Hongmeng Galaxy Edition and Pangu Model 5.0 will be grandly opened in Songshan Lake, Dongguan from June 21st to 23rd. Are you gearing up and ready for this annual technology feast?
I heard that you are still regretting that you didn’t grab those early bird tickets that were sold out within 5 minutes? Don’t be too lazy, opportunities always come to prepared coders! The first batch of full-price tickets will be charged on May 2. This is not as simple as hand speed. It is a contest of strategy and preparation. Regarding purchasing tickets, I believe everyone has some experience. Considering the popularity of early bird tickets for this conference, I believe many friends have already started to make "warm-up preparations" early.
The ticket purchase process requires three steps: preliminary preparation, ticket purchase, and registration.
Specifically, it includes the following links: registration/login account - real-name authentication - purchase of tickets - payment of fees - registration information (complete information) - registration information review - success. The conference adopts a real-name system to participate in the conference. Participants must fill in the registration information truthfully (such as name, ID card information, contact number, etc.), and can only participate in the conference after successful ticket purchase and registration. In order to allow everyone to successfully purchase tickets on the day of sale, examples of each link will be shown next to give everyone a clear understanding.
1.1 Step 1: Preparation
First, make sure you have a Huawei account. If you don’t have a Huawei account, you need to register a Huawei account in advance. Open the Huawei Cloud official website ( https://www.huaweicloud.com/ ), click the [Register] button in the upper right corner to register.

1.2 Step 2: Purchase tickets
After logging in to your Huawei account, open the Huawei Developer Conference official website ( https://developer.huawei.com/home/hdc/hdc2024.html ), click [Participate and purchase tickets] or directly scroll down to the ticket display area to make a selection.
Ticket types for this conference are divided into: VIP tickets, expert tickets, all-pass tickets, single-day tickets, and student tickets.
1.2.1 Non-student tickets: VIP tickets, expert tickets, all-pass tickets, single-day tickets
Select the type of your choice to [Buy Tickets Now] , select the technology field of interest, and proceed to the next step.
Check the relevant statement and click [Activate] .
Click [Real-name Authentication] . Since ticket purchase is a real-name system, real-name authentication is required first, and this process only takes one minute to complete. (If you have authenticated your name, the system will jump directly to the ticket purchase confirmation interface)
Depending on your own circumstances, you can choose your own personal certification or corporate certification methods.
Taking "personal authentication" as an example, face verification and bank card authentication take effect in real time; document authentication requires manual review for 1-3 working days.
After filling in the relevant certification information, click [Buy Tickets Now] to jump to the ticket purchase page and proceed to [Submit Order] .
To pay for orders, the payment method supports Huawei Cloud account balance and other mainstream payment methods.
If the payment is successful, the system will automatically jump to the registration page.
If you do not need to confirm your registration immediately, you can click [My Conference] → [My Orders] to check the pending registration status of related ticket purchases.
1.2.2 Student ticket purchase
After selecting [Student Ticket], first agree and confirm the "Huawei Developer Service Agreement and Privacy Statement".
If you are a college student, student certification is required to participate in this conference .
Log in to your Huawei account, enter the account center , select student certification, fill in the relevant information, and wait for review. (Please conduct real-name authentication for your personal account first, and then conduct student authentication) The real-name authentication information is expected to be reviewed within 1-3 working days.
Participants who have passed student certification will jump directly to the ticket page after selecting "Student Ticket".
Click [Submit Order] to proceed with the payment process.
I would like to remind student participants here to obtain student certification in advance to avoid delays in purchasing tickets.
1.3 Step 3: Registration
Has the ticket purchase been successful? Congratulations, you have half-stepped into the door of future technology. Next, start your “registration to attend” process.
1.3.1 Individual ticket purchase registration
If you purchase your own tickets to register for the conference, the system will automatically jump to the [Complete Information] page after the ticket purchase and payment are successful .
After submission is completed, enter the review page.
1.3.2 Multiple ticket purchase registration
If you purchase multiple tickets at the same time, your companions need to go through the "registration" process individually.
First, enter the main page of the conference and click [I want to attend] - [I want to register] . You can also directly fill in the registration in the purchased ticket order under the [ My Order ] column on the [ My Conference ] page .
Enter the [Registration Page] and fill in the complete [Electronic Ticket Code] . [Electronic ticket code] is sent by the system via email or text message to the mobile phone/email address filled in when registering the ticket purchaser's Huawei account after the ticket purchase is successfully reviewed.
Click "Next" to proceed to "Complete Information" .
After submission is completed, enter the review page.
1.3.3 Submission of registration information for review
After the registration is successfully reviewed, the system will send a notification of successful ticket purchase to the mobile phone and email address provided during registration.
After the registration information is reviewed and approved, the electronic card will be automatically displayed on the [My Order] page.
When you see the QR code of the “electronic card” appearing in front of you, congratulations and get ready for this technological feast!
2 Warm tips for ticket purchase and registration
Regarding the early bird ticket pre-sale process, everyone is paying more attention to some issues. We have also compiled some ticket purchasing tips for you. We hope they can help you during the ticket purchasing and registration process.
1. What are the official ticket sales times ? Will early bird tickets be available in the future ?
A: The purchase time for regular-priced tickets is from 10:08 on May 2 to 24:00 on June 7, 2024. The number of tickets is limited and while supplies last; regular-priced tickets will be sold in 4 batches, namely: 5 10:08 on May 2nd, 10:08 on May 9th, 10:08 on May 16th, and 10:08 on May 23rd.
The early bird ticket purchase time is from 10:08 on April 25, 2024 to 24:00 on May 1, 2024. The number of early bird discount tickets is limited and while supplies last.
2. How to purchase student tickets ?
A: If you need to purchase student tickets, please conduct student certification in advance. Ticket purchase and registration for this conference are only open to adults over 18 years of age.
3. Does it support ticket purchasing?
A: Ticket buyers can purchase multiple tickets of the same type at one time. After purchasing the tickets, the ticket codes will be passed to the participants, and the participants will complete the registration process themselves.
