linux environment, no dig command -bash: dig: command not found? -bash: dig: command not found

Background Description :

  Today, using the dig command being given command does not exist, -bash: dig: the Command not found

Solve :

Installation through yum way

yum -y install bind-utils

NOTE: Before you try yum install dig found no, dig in the bind-utils package inside.

After installation, there is a command:

[root@localhost sysconfig]# dig

; <<>> DiG 9.9.4-RedHat-9.9.4-73.el7_6 <<>>
;; global options: +cmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 22633
