WebStorm 2019.2 released the first EAP, WebStorm is JetBrains launch of a commercial JavaScript development tools, this powerful IDE dedicated to modern JavaScript development.
The main contents of this update are as follows:
More than 20 kinds of syntax highlighting different languages
WebStorm 2019.2 as more than 20 different programming languages to add syntax highlighting, including PHP, Python, Ruby and Java.
This is to improve the user experience, but still mainly WebStorm IDE JavaScript and TypeScript developers, so the official said they did not intend to extend support for these additional languages syntax highlighting of.
Support jsconfig.json defined alias
WebStorm has now been added to the path of the file path field jsconfig.json defined alias support.
Update plugin configuration
WebStorm 2018.3 introduces a new plug-in in the Preferences page, the following improvements based on user feedback to it:
- Now you can see a list of plug-plug beside description
- Can now more easily disable (or enable) all download plug-ins - click the gear button and select the appropriate action
- Now, the Update button is displayed next to the tab name of the plugin "installed", rather than a single "Update" tab
Shared data
EAP IDE version is enabled by default send usage statistics, this means that the configuration data about the IDE and use features will be collected, but the official said it does not include any personal data or sensitive information, such as source code or file name.
Note: This change affects only the EAP version. In the stable version, the default data sharing will remain closed.
