CPU architectures: x86, arm, mips, Godson, etc.

In the company often heard other engineers say x86, arm platform getting better, as an algorithm engineer, I have heard do not know what this is! ! ! (Shame)

   x86, arm, mips, etc. These are all CPU architectures, whether computer or mobile phone devices require some embedded CPU, but they use the CPU architecture is different.

x86 is mainly used in areas such as PC notebooks, desktops, servers and other small

arm used in fields such as mobile phones, flat panel, etc.

MIPS R series microprocessors used to build high-performance SGI workstations, servers, and supercomputers. In terms of the embedded, MIPS K series microprocessor is now second only to ARM one of the most used processors (prior to 1999 MIPS is the most used in the world on the processor), its applications covering games, router , laser printers, handheld computers and other aspects.

Godson : R & D is based on the MIPS instruction set processor (can not say completely independent), mainly low threshold for authorization of MIPS.

PC side : based on X86 architecture, we turn on the computer's configuration, which has cpu brand, we generally can see Intel, AMD processors such brand.

End mobile phones : based on the ARM architecture, we open the phone settings on the machine, which has cpu brands, such as Apple A system, Xiaolong series, Samsung Orion, Huawei Hass unicorn, MediaTek and millet surging series
