1.1 Deep Freeze installation method
1.1.1 by cmd installation command
By mounting the freezing point reduction cmd command, the system time can be modified after installation (recommended method) .
- The Deep Freeze Application ( .exe) into the free Chinese directory (D: \ setup.exe).
- Open cmd, enter the file freezing point reduction as the program.
3. Enter the install command to install. Install command: Setup.exe / Instal / AllowTimeChange / Freeze = C :. To protect the C drive disk D, modifying / freeze = c:, d: can, note that each intermediate parameters include a space.
4. The system will automatically restart after the installation, reducing the freezing point and displays the login screen. Failure to display Deep Freeze interface that allows "Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F6 " to open the freezing point reduction. At this point there is no password, click "OK" to enter the main interface.
1.1.2 By exe application installation
Double-click the Deep Freeze .exe application is installed, the system can not be modified after installation time (not recommended) .
The installation can be activated during the installation process, after the completion of the activation can also be installed. The figure is activated at the installation process.
- Double click the application, click on the installation interface "Next" to continue.
2. Go to the freezing point of the Restore Wizard software license agreement screen, check the "I accept the terms of the software license agreement" and then click "Next";
3. Enter the license key interface, RI will generate up copy of the license key, and then click "Next." In the pop-up interface, click "activate the option."
4. In the activation selection setting interface offline activated (open computer network ), click on "Next." In the activation screen, copy the activation code generated by the RI up, click "Next."
The pop-up "Your license key has been successfully activated", the activation is successful, click "OK."
6. Next, enter the Restore Wizard to freezing frozen drive configuration interface, as shown below, we may need to freeze the letter set, then click "Next" (because I just froze C drive, so the rest of the disk and external devices thawed are set).

8. On the next screen shown in the figure, uncheck the "Connect to your and tertiary deepfree.com ", click on "Install", enter the installation interface, wait for the system will automatically restart after a successful installation.
1.2 activation
- RI extracting compressed file, double-click , select the registered machines Deep Freeze Standard V8.x , click on the " the Generate ", to generate a serial number and activation code.
- Open the Deep Freeze, click on the main interface "launch control" tab, click "Edit", copy the generated RI Serial to "license key" box, click "renew the license."
- Disconnect the computer network connection, click "Activate Options", select "offline activation."
- The RI generated copy Activation to the "activation code", click "next" to activate the software.
1.3 Deep Freeze using the settings
1.3.1 Open Deep Freeze settings interface
After installing the freezing point in the Restore Wizard to restart the computer, you can simultaneously press on the keyboard ctrl + AIt + shift + F6 key, or press and hold the shift key, and then restore wizard icon with the mouse freezing point lower right corner of the desktop, double-click the taskbar, the freezing point of the program can be adjusted login screen, when the previous password is not set, click "OK" to enter the main interface.
1.3.2 modify Deep Freeze password
After opening the main interface wizard freezing point reduction, activation control can be set, password and the like. Click on the "Password" tab, set a password for dinghan300011, click "OK" to set a new password.
1.3.3 set the next time the computer starts state
Click "Start Control" option, you can set the next state when the computer is started, a total of 3 startup mode.
l "After starting freeze" option: to restore normal freezing point is protected wizard, if we choose this option, then the software will always protect your system, no matter what the operation will restart the computer after restitution.
l "After starting the thaw under" Options: The default number is 1, meaning once for not protecting state after the computer starts, we can adjust this number, says a few adjustments to restart a few times does not protect the system.
l "After starting the thaw" option: that after the computer is restarted, no protection, no installation wizard with the freezing point of the system is an effect. When the disc (e.g., C drive) to modify protected, select this option. Deep Freeze icon in the lower right corner of the desktop taskbar is red X, to show that there is no protection status.
1.4 update software / files
If we want to freeze the disc update (install software or files), follow these steps:
- Press ctrl + AIt + shift + F6 key, or press and hold the shift key, and then restore wizard mouse double-click the desktop icon in the lower right corner with a freezing point taskbar to bring up the Deep Freeze software, enter the password into the interface.
- In the "Start Control" tab, select the third option "After starting the thaw", and then click Apply and restart, then the computer is not protected, we can install the software they need.
