HSI is a method based on spatial domain transform

I. Introduction

The most commonly used color and RGB color models have HSI color model, HSI color model because the people feel closely connected with the color of the color image processing way to become the most commonly used color model.

In the HSI space, I (Intensity) represents the intensity of the image corresponding to the spatial resolution of the image, i.e. indicates how white light is irradiated on this color.

H (Hue) represents a tone that decide what color.

S (saturation) represents saturation, i.e., determines the color shade.

Wherein H and S represents the spectral resolution of the image, converting the basic idea of the HSI image is fused by the fusion of the I component and the high-resolution image to improve the spatial resolution multispectral image, while keep the spectral characteristics of the multispectral image.

Second, step

HSI converting conventional fusion method comprising three steps:

       1. The original image as multi-spectral transform HSI

       2. replaced with full-color images (high resolution images) directly off the multispectral image spatial resolution lower component I, H and S kept unchanged

Multispectral image after the inverse transform 3.HSI enhanced.

Third, the specific methods and formulas
