phpMyAdmin 4.9.4 and 5.0.1 was released. phpMyAdmin is a very popular web MySQL database management tool. It can create and drop databases, create / delete / modify tables, delete / edit / add fields, execute SQL scripts.
Reminder: LTS version 4.x in the stage, only the security fixes and critical bug fixes. It recommends that users migrate to version 5.
The latest version solves two problems, including:
- Two-factor authentication before release introduces verification issues
- SQL CSW Research Labs reported injection vulnerability fixes
Other known issues: the current release version of the report may not appear correctly on the home page (for example, "Version information: 5.0.1, the latest stable version: 4.9.4"). Fix this problem is expected to be a routine bug fix in the next version.
