NPN与PNP
Current direction
NPN output type sensors (current flows) and a PNP output type (current flows) in two ways:
- When the current flowing sensors (PNP output type) when turned on, a current flows from the output terminal of the power supply via the sensor (output) Load (load), the load entering, and then flows to the ground terminal.
- While the sensor current flows (NPN output type) is turned on, a current is flowing through the load from the power output terminal of the sensor (Output), and then flows to the ground terminal (GND), and finally into the ground (GND) system.

PNP and NPN type sensors typically have three lead wires, i.e., the power supply line VCC, GND, OUT signal output line

NPN means that when there is a trigger signal, the output signal line OUT and GND, the output OUT corresponds to a low level. - 2, PNP type
PNP means that when there is a trigger signal, the output signal line OUT connected to VCC, OUT outputs a high level corresponding to the power supply line.
