2. Build the BOM
Before building the BOM, set the BOM parent and child properties in the inventory file (Figure 3-13) according to the BOM structure.
Build the BOM of SA-1 product according to Figure 3-27. UFIDA U8V12.0 build BOM Menu path: operations - manufacturing - BOM Maintenance - material data list maintenance

after Figure 3-28 Click "Add" button at 3, 4 in the female member coding Choose to enter the SA-1 product inventory code 000001 in the column, and choose to enter the aluminum chassis, resonant cavity, and main control circuit board in the 5 component code columns.
Only when the plan tab in the inventory file is set to allow BOM parent parts, it can be entered as the parent parts in 4 in the above picture. Only if it is set to allow BOM component, it can be entered as component at 5 in the above figure.

Due to technical design or customer customization, the same parent part may have multiple versions of BOM. 1 in Figure 3-29 indicates the BOM version information. The version code is automatically generated by the system, and the description text is manually entered in the version description column, which is convenient for use and reference. The version date refers to the effective date of the BOM, and the effective date of the same parent document cannot be the same.
Quantity used = basic usage/basic usage/(1-mother part loss rate) * (1 + child part loss rate). In this case, the loss rate of mother and child parts is all 0.
When planning the BOM deployment, multiply it by the planned ratio based on the "quantity used". When the parent part is a standard material (the inventory attribute is not a planned product), the planning ratio must be 100%.

this case, an aluminum case is composed of 2 side casings and 2 top casings. Therefore, fill in 2 in the basic usage column of 1 in Fig. 3-30.

Figure 3-31 and Figure 3-32 are the BOM of the side cabinet and the top cabinet respectively. One side cabinet only needs 0.5 aluminum sheets, and one top cabinet only needs 0.5. Zhang aluminum sheet. Therefore, fill in 1 in the basic dosage column and 2 in the basic dosage column in the figure.
BOM needs to be reviewed and can only be used after review.
By analogy, continue to build other BOMs in this case, so I won't describe them all here. After the construction is completed, you can use the menu: business work-manufacturing-bill of materials query report-parent part structure query multi-level. Query the BOM of the complete tree structure:

The following figure 3-36 pops up, and the single body selects and enters 010004 and 010005. In Figure 3-36, you can define the substitution order, substitution ratio, and expiration date at 1 position, and set “No” in the 2 replacement material columns.

4. Alternative material application
Application method 1: In
Figure 3-35, the mother part is the finished product 000001 of SA-1 product, and the sub-part main control circuit A type 010003 has two alternative materials.
Enter a production order, as shown in Figure 3-37.

Before saving, the cursor is on the first line of the single body, click the "Part" button at 1 in the figure, and the following figure 3-38 will pop up.

Figure 3-38 In
Figure 3-38 above, click the "Modify" button at 1, then select the main control circuit board, right-click the "Alternative Material Processing", and pop up Figure 3-39:

Figure 3-39 , The first line of replacement requisition is set to 50, the first line of replacement requisition is set to 20, the total quantity of each line of the replacement requisition, should be less than or equal to the source production order main control circuit board type A 010003 to be requisitioned 100.
Source production order main control circuit board type A 010003 needs to use 100:
50 of them, replace it with main control circuit board B type 010004, the replacement ratio is 2, the number of replacement materials = replacement amount 50 replacement ratio 2 = 100; of
which 20 Use the main control circuit board C type 010005 instead, the substitution ratio is 1, the number of substitute materials = the replacement amount 20
substitution ratio 1 = 20; the
remaining 30, still use the main control circuit board A type 010003.
Save and exit, the figure 3-38 becomes the following figure: the 3rd, 4th, and 5th lines in the

on the figure 3-40 are the results of the replacement processing. The material out-of-warehousing list refers to the production order to handle the out-of-warehousing list, and the replacement material out of the warehouse can be completed.
Application Method 2:
Check to allow the use of substitute materials during production picking (business work-supply chain-inventory management-settings-options), as shown in the figure below:
Chapter 3 Section 3 Bill of Materials BOM
Figure 3-41
Assume that there is a production order, as shown in Figure 3-37 above. Refer to the production order to make the material delivery list (business work-supply chain-inventory management-material delivery-material delivery list), as shown in the figure below:

Figure
3-42 Select the third line with the cursor, and click the "Alternative Material" button to pop up "There is no substitute component". Reason: The main control circuit board B type 010004 and the main control circuit board C type 010004 in the BOM component replacement material maintenance entry (Figure 3-36) are LP components. That is, LP parts cannot be directly substituted in the material delivery list, and LP parts can only be replaced by the above application method 1. If it is a PE part, it can be replaced by application method one and application method two.
Chapter 3 Section 3 Bill of Materials BOM
In addition to the above manual operation using alternative materials, alternative materials can also be used in the MRP planning calculation process, which will be described in the MRP planning chapter.

5.
If the BOM-level replacement part is set to "Yes" in the "Replacement Material" column in the first row in Figure 3-36, it means that the current line of material main control circuit board type B 010004 is the selected line of the main control circuit board type A in Figure 3-35 Replacement material for 010003.
The replacement material and the planning method of the replacement material must be MRP; the replacement material is not entered in the inventory file, and the replacement date must be entered; the replacement material is not entered in the inventory file, and the replacement date is not entered;
BOM-level replacement settings , Affect the substitution relationship. For example, in Figure 3-36, the first and second rows are both "No", indicating that it is a "substitution" relationship. If the 2 replacement materials in the second row of Figure 3-36 are set to "Yes", the second row is only used as a replacement material, not a substitute material anymore.
BOM-level replacement materials are mainly used in the calculation process of MRP planning. The specific application methods and methods will be described in the MRP planning chapter.
The changes made in Sections 3, 4, and 5 will be resumed immediately after the demonstration, and will not participate in subsequent demonstrations.
