1. Download the mirror:
Recommended official mirror address: http://vault.centos.org/7.2.1511/isos/x86_64/
Normally choose: CentOS-7-x86_64-DVD-1511.iso
You can also download torrents first
Please check the md5sum value after downloading
2. Burn the bootable USB:
It is recommended to use the software UltraISO 9.6.1.3016
2.1 Operation steps--File--Open--Choose to the mirror you downloaded
2.2 Start, write the hard disk image---write, start the U disk and make it!!
PS; The U disk I used here is SanDisk CZ80. The boot U disk server made by Kingston was not recognized, and the reason was not found. Let’s talk about the difference between CZ80 and other U disks---- - This U disk computer recognizes as [local disk]
3. Insert the U disk into the server, and press F11 after restarting or turning on the computer (or select the button according to the prompt when the computer starts)---the function is to enter the boot Manager
4. After entering the bootManager, select your U disk, and click Enter to confirm the entry.
5. After clicking the installation interface, don't rush to click install-----the pit is here----there is a prompt below that press the TAB key to modify the installation information and the like
A job to be done here is to write down the name of the U disk in advance or change it to a memorable name (case-sensitive, whichever is ultimately seen by windows)
Or see below:
Here we directly modify the text after pressing the TAB key to: >vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img linux dd quiet . After changing it, go back.
Then it will list your device list. In this list, I can clearly identify which one is my U if I don't know Linux.
Then start the computer again through the U disk, select the first item to install CentOS7 and press the TAB key, and then change the text at the bottom to: >vm linuzinitrd=initrd.img inst.stage2=hd:/dev/sdc4 quiet
You can refer to another blog: http://www.cnblogs.com/hfyfpga/p/5789681.html
The rest is to install it step by step according to the instructions
If you are prompted that there is not enough space in the middle, you need to clear the contents of the disk, please reclaim the space.
Network configuration after installation
cd /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
Find the name of your network card (mine is em2, some are enp2s0)
Automatic IP assignment: (modify two locations)
BOOTPROTO = dhcp
ONBOOT = yes
Need custom ip:
BOOTPROTO = none
ONBOOT = yes
IPADDR = 192.168.1.100
GATEWAY=192.168.1.1
NETMASK = 255.255.255.0
DNS1=192.168.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or the DNS you want to use
Here the network configuration is complete
