1. Flash preparation
a. Prepare a U disk, it is recommended to use a U disk within 1G-64G
b. Download special formatting software to format the U disk: USB_format.exe
c. According to the proprietary REG name of the HiSilicon chip set-top box, download the card firmware corresponding to your set-top box model, how to confirm the REG name

d. Unzip the above set-top box usb card firmware to the root directory of the U disk, as shown in the figure below:
e. Insert the U disk into any USB port of the set-top box
2. Find the shorting point of the short-circuited set-top box, so that the set-top box can be searched and flashed from the U disk (please use Baidu related models)
The CPU of hi3798mv100 can usually achieve the same effect by shorting pins 1 and 2 on the upper right corner of the CPU.
Example 1: HUAWEI Wyatt box ec6108v9c short J16 (use tweezers to connect the two holes)
Note: If you find that your ec6108v9 board is J16, please use the mdmo1g flashing package. (Some merchants have irregular shell logos)
3. Flashing steps: (knowledge point: each flashing is based on the state of the brick, theoretically it can be swiped infinitely!)
Turn off the power --> short circuit --> turn on the power --> release the short circuit for about 5 seconds --> automatic reset
Note: You can also try to flash without short circuit. I have flashed the Haines machine once, and there is no need to short-circuit it when flashing again. As long as the USB flash drive is plugged in, and the USB flash drive read light flashes for a long time after power-on, there is a high probability that it is flashing.
Notice! ! ! ! ! After short-circuiting, the original Android welcome screen will light up when booting up, which means the short-circuiting is unsuccessful.
After successful short-circuiting, after 2 minutes of black screen, the first screen "Flashing into the exciting system" is turned on.
After releasing the short connection, the screen remains black for more than 5 minutes, which means that the U disk is not recognized and files cannot be transferred. Please replace the U disk or insert it into another USB port.
About 3 minutes after the normal flashing starts, the following interface will appear on the TV
4. Flashing is complete
After flashing successfully, connect the network cable to the router, find the IP that is automatically assigned to the box on the router management page, and enter the IP in the browser to enter the system management page.
Why can't I find the IP after flashing successfully?
