1. Open the PCB design file

Open the PCB design file in AD software, make sure all necessary design files and library files are loaded;


2. Open the DRC dialog box

Click the "Design" option in the main menu bar, then select "Rules" and "Design Rule Check", or use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+D to open the DRC dialog box;


3. Configuration rules

In the DRC dialog box, the engineer can select the required rule set and configure each rule in detail. These rules include electrical rules, physical rules, manufacturing rules, etc., and the appropriate rule set can be selected according to the project requirements, and according to Specific rules need to be enabled or disabled;


Fourth, run the DRC check

After configuring the rules, click the "Run Design Rule Check" button to start running the DRC check;


5. View the inspection results

After the DRC inspection is completed, an inspection report will be obtained. In the report, the engineer can view all errors, warnings and suggestions, as well as their detailed description and location. Through the inspection results, the problems and potential improvement points in the PCB design can be determined.
