COSCon'23 Call for Speakers

The annual open source event, COSCon'23, the 8th China Open Source Annual Conference, will be held on October 28th and 29th in Jingronghui, High-tech Zone, Chengdu, Sichuan !

The yearly open source event, COSCon'23 8th Annual China Open Source Conference, will be taken place on 28th~29th October at Jingronghui, Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, Sichuan Province

We expect more than 1,600 people to participate in this event on site, and more than 10,000 online viewers to watch eagerly. Thanks to the many community partners, corporate partners and volunteers who have worked together to make COSCon of this scale possible.

We anticipate that over 1,600 individuals will attend the event in person, with an additional 10,000 tuning in online. We express our gratitude to the numerous community partners, corporate partners, and volunteers who worked in unison to enable an occasion of such size and grandeur.

This conference will last for two days. The topics we plan include: artificial intelligence, open source business, cloud computing, big data, blockchain, Internet of Things, open source education, open source culture, open source governance, open source hardware, open source operating system, programming Language, women's forum, open source charity, web application development, open source treasure box and lightning speech, etc. I also particularly hope to hear various free/open source related success stories and ups and downs experiences. We sincerely invite your participation!

The two-day conference will cover a wide range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence, Open Source Business, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT(Internet of Things), Open Source Education, Open Source Culture, Open Source Governance, Open Source Hardware, Open Source Operating Systems, Programming Languages, Women's Forums,  Open Source Philanthropy, Web Application Development, Open Source Toolkits and Lightening Talks. We would love to hear your success stories and both positive and negative experiences related to free/open source. We sincerely invite your participation! 

As always, COSCon'23 is soliciting a variety of speeches related to freedom/open source. We welcome experts from all walks of life to register through the speaker call order before September 15th After being reviewed by the community, it is scheduled to be announced in early October. As usual, COSCon'23 invites a diverse range of free and open source related presentations. Submissions are welcome through the Call for Speakers until 15th September. The full agenda will be released in early October after reviewing. In the first year of the "post-COVID-19 era", we will adopt the " Female Fire Model ", that is, after the main conference, we will hold After Parties in interested cities to gather the "open source fire" from around the world and spread it across the country to promote various The spread of open source culture in the city and the exchange of open source people. At present, After Party is planned to be held in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and other cities. If you are willing to participate in the gathering and sharing of open source people in After Party, please also indicate the time when you can make the trip and the city you want to go to in the solicitation order.

In the first year of the "Post New Crown Era", we will implement the "Beacon Mode". This entails organising an After Party in cities of interest following the main conference, in order to share the "Open Source Spark" collected from all over the world and to facilitate the propagation of open source culture and the exchange of individuals involved in open source in each city across the country. We will adopt the "beacon model" by organizing an After Party in key cities following the main conference. This will enable the dissemination of the "open source flame" gathered worldwide throughout the country, thereby fostering the propagation of open source culture and facilitating the exchange of open source individuals in each city. Currently, the After Party for open source enthusiasts will be hosted in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and additional cities. If interested in attending, please specify the desired date and location in the proposal submission.
