The first time I came into contact with Kaiyuan Society was during the Wuhan epidemic in 2020.

At that time, I cooperated with everyone to complete the work, and got to know Sister Shu Min, Sister Siying, Brother Yang, Brother He Xiaoying, Brother Xue, Brother Xin, Sister Xiaobai, Sister Haoyue, and Sister Corrie. It seemed like an event was over. I thought it was over, but then Sister Shu Min invited me to join the group. I thought I had something to do again (silly smiley face)~ School hadn’t started yet at that time, so I was idle anyway.

After that, I followed Sister Shu Min. At first it was promotion activities in various groups, then community cooperation, and then it was copywriting, typesetting and other graphic work. Anyway, I learned something!

As I write this article, I recall that it seems to have been almost three years since I started participating in the open source annual conference in 2021. So fast! From not knowing anything to gradually having a concept of open source, I am really grateful to the teachers and partners of Kaiyuan Society. Each of them is super "intelligent"!

The following are my memories and summary of the annual meeting:

The Open Source Annual Conference is a “super feast” for open source friends!

I started to enter this happy circle when I was 21 years old. I had just graduated that year, and I was really unlucky. My feet were sprained after walking too much, and I looked like a loser. However, this useless thing actually gave me the opportunity. I leisurely organized the list of cooperative communities and interacted happily with the community bosses. The teachers are so nice and communication is so easy and pleasant.

In 2021, the COVID-19 epidemic is still "noisy", but our annual meeting will not shrink back! The theme is simply exciting, called "Happy Hacking". There are forums for education, governance, women, treasure chests, charity, business, etc.

I participated in it, felt the charm of open source, and met a bunch of handsome bosses and great stories.

I originally planned to attend the event last year, but I didn’t expect my feet to “wake up” yet. The live pictures my friends posted made me drool, and I vowed to see it live next year! As a result, until now, it is just a good wish.

Those promotional pictures are simply too attractive, especially the open source Hudun, which is simply "cute"! I couldn't help but go to Huihui and made several short videos of Kaiyuan Hudun. That little guy is so cute~

In 2022, the epidemic was still causing trouble, and the annual meeting took the form of a metaverse. The theme is "Open the World" and the topics include artificial intelligence, cloud computing, culture, etc.

The gameplay of Metaverse is even more eye-catching. You can "play" a virtual person yourself and "shopping" in various scenes. Although you haven't been to the scene, it can still be regarded as "shopping in the cloud". It feels like playing a super cool role-playing game, experiencing the fantasy scenery of different "levels", and finally watching a gorgeous virtual fireworks show.

Although we were on the "cloud", Jiejie and I still ran around. Xiao Ming was my all-round guide, taking me to "check in", watch fireworks, and enjoy the scenery. It couldn't be better~

After all, we are in a virtual scene, and we have met our friends.

What I remember most is the metaverse experience and the little surprise before the end of the annual meeting every year.

In 2021, it was Sister Corrie who asked me to go online and said there was a surprise. In 2022, it was Teacher Leon who reminded me to remember to go online.

The teachers and friends of Kaiyuan Club are really attentive every time~ It feels like they are having a party with friends!

I heard that this year's COSCon'23 will be even more exciting. After three years of waiting, I can finally get together with my open source friends again.

"From hundreds of rivers to the east to the sea", Kaiyuan gathers people's aspirations and thrives. Therefore, this year’s theme is “Open Source: Continuous Streams, Mountains and Seas”, and there are forums on AI, business, cloud computing, Internet of Things, etc.

Big names from all walks of life gathered together, and the open source story was even more wonderful.

The long-awaited open source conference has come out, and we sincerely invite everyone to come and sign up for the open source annual meeting, and come together to witness this open source "prosperity".

We can experience wonderful activities together, and there are also exquisite gifts at the venue. There are different ways to play at branch venues in different cities waiting for everyone to discover.
