System default user: wo

The system creates two users by default, one is the ordinary user named wo; the other is the administrator user root with the highest system authority .

The default common username is: wo , and the default password is:
debian168;
The last character is the English semicolon
- The root user can log in to the system directly, and the default password is:

  The middle of 168 is the English connector and the English semicolon

Copper Pea installs the NVIDIA graphics card open source driver nouveau by default, and the software package name is: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau.

"Copper Pea Linux 11 version" maintenance period
This version is maintained until August 2026.
After the Debian 11 version is officially released in August 2021, Debian will officially maintain it for three years until August 2024, and then Debian's LTS team will continue to maintain it for another two years. For information on LTS maintenance, please refer to: https://wiki.debian.org/LTS

The Copper Pea Linux 11 version series will continue to be maintained and updated following the official Debian and Debian LTS versions.

Seamless upgrade
Users who have previously installed Copper Pea 11.x version do not need to reinstall the operating system.
Please run the following command as the root user to update all software packages to the latest version with one click:

- When you click the Bluetooth icon for the first time, you will be prompted whether to automatically activate Bluetooth.

Other Matters
Log in to the system with the root account
1. If you click on the chess or go programs, an error will be reported.
2. The default sound icon appears as mute
3. Can't turn on the sound, can't play the sound
4. Click the program menu, Settings-->Users and Groups
5. Account operation cannot be successful. Please log in to the system as an ordinary user and use the program. A prompt box for inputting the root password will appear.
The above is a normal phenomenon. This is due to Debian's security mechanism, which does not recommend root users to use graphical applications directly. Please log in to the system with a normal account to use related functions.
